Center for the Development of Successful Student Careers

The main task of the university center for the development of successful student careers is to form in students a conscious career position, the ability to navigate the market, effectively present themselves, develop professional connections, and find the first opportunities - internships, jobs, or projects - based on their own values, motivation, and life meanings.

Debate Club

Debate club 1

Where responsibility for one's professional choice begins

Education is increasingly no longer limited to the transfer of knowledge. It begins at the moment when a person is first required to publicly take responsibility for their own position. The question of the first professional step — employment or launching one’s own startup — is significant not because it has a correct answer, but because it compels reflection on the consequences of a choice rather than its attractiveness. That is why this topic is important for both university and lyceum communities. It concerns not only career decisions but also a way of thinking: how perceptions of risk, responsibility, failure, and growth are formed. In a world where ready-made formulas quickly lose their value, the ability to think in a structured and well-argued way becomes a fundamental educational competence.

Debate club 2

A format in which words have consequences

For this conversation, the debate format was chosen instead of an open discussion for a principled reason. A discussion allows opinions to coexist. Debates require a clear position and accountability for it. Here, it is impossible to hide behind general statements or agree with everyone at once. Each side is obliged to maintain its own logic, work with counterarguments, and take responsibility for what is said. It is within this format that the difference between conviction and slogan, between argument and emotional reaction, becomes visible. This is a space where a voice is shaped not by volume, but by thinking.

Debate club 3

An investment in a culture of thinking, not a one-time event

The INTITA Debate Club is part of the university’s long-term strategy aimed at developing intellectual capital. It is not about the format of events, but about an institutional mechanism in which thinking becomes visible, is articulated, and transforms into decisions, projects, and actions. Through debates, a culture of “voice without shouting” is formed — the ability to speak publicly without devaluing others, and to change one’s position not under pressure, but under the influence of argument. For INTITA, this is a long-term investment: in students who think strategically; in partners who value responsible dialogue; and in a society that needs decisions rather than noise.
